Where dreams come true.

Have you ever dreamed of becoming the heroine of your favorite cartoon from childhood? But what if it really can be arranged? Of course, you won’t be able to spend your whole life in a medieval castle (it’s for the best: after all, there’s neither the Internet, nor your favorite music, nor TV shows!), But to visit the places where you lived, fell in love and searched for adventures, characters sweetheart heart – quite really! Indeed, many places Disney artists did not take out of their heads: they exist on our planet.

Beauty and the Beast – Alsace, France

“A town, a couple of quiet streets …” – with these words in “Beauty and the Beast” one of the first scenes opens, where Belle hurries to the library and furtively watches the life of a small town, which she is so tired of. You can also feel like Belle and run through these quiet streets: the artists painted this location inspired by Alsace, which is located in the north-east of France.

The Little Mermaid – Chillon Castle, Switzerland

It seems that the adventures of the Little Mermaid are so far from reality – the underwater world, Triton, plowing the expanses of the ocean with a trident, cutie Flounder and the singing crab Sebastian. Our world here can hardly fit! But, you imagine, the creators found a place for him too: Prince Eric’s castle looks exactly like Chillon Castle in Switzerland. This castle, by the way, survived a lot in its lifetime: it was in a two-day siege of the Bernese people, served as a prison in the middle of the 14th century, and now there is a museum there.

Brave – Eilean Donan Castle, Scotland

Like a real Princess, Merida also lives in a castle, and she (like a real Princess) is madly enraging. If there was her will – she would ride on her faithful horse far, far, to explore the expanses of emerald Scotland! But parents hope that their Princess will remain in the castle and will rule the kingdom when she grows up. In general, in Scotland, there are a lot of castles, from one of them – Eilean-Donan Castle – and the castle for the royal couple “Braveheart” was designed. Fun fact: the castle is named after the hermit monk Donan, who lived on the island in the 12th century.

Snow White – Alcazar of Segovia, Spain

Someone remembers the Evil Queen better from the animated film, and someone will have this image forever associated with Regina Mills from Once Upon a Time. In any case, the castle in which she lives exists in reality. It is located in Spain, near the mountains of Guadarrama.

Aladdin – Taj Mahal, India

The chic palace of the Sultan, father of Jasmine, is actually not a palace. This is the Taj Mahal, the mosque-mausoleum, and it is located in India. Inside the Taj Mahal (to be more precise, underground) there are two tombs where Shah Jahan lies, by whose order the mosque was built, and his wife Mumtaz.

Rapunzel – Mont Saint Michel, Normandy, France

Having spent all her childhood and youth in a tower in the forest, Rapunzel always dreamed of living in a castle that was visible from the window of her room. In life, this is not just a castle, but a whole stone island in Normandy. Several dozen people live there, and up to three and a half million tourists come. So it’s boring for Rapunzel’s parents if they had suddenly been moved from the cartoon to a harsh reality, it certainly would not have been!

Sleeping Beauty – Neuschwanstein Castle, Bavaria, Germany

Aurora was very lucky to fall asleep in Neuschwanstein Castle, however, it is amazing how tourists did not get it because this is their favorite place to visit in Germany. This castle was built under King Ludwig II. On his orders, a “fairytale palace” was to be erected. And so it turned out: the castle is really fabulous, perfectly suited for romantic Disney history.

The Lion King – Serengeti National Park, Tanzania, Africa

Serengeti National Park, the landscapes of which are held by the background throughout the “Lion King”, is truly amazing. And the matter is not even in the wild nature of Africa, but in how many animals live there: giraffes, antelopes, zebras, of course, lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards – there are more than four and a half million of them! You can come to Serengeti and not be afraid to be eaten: excursions have been held there for a long time, and the guides without fail to tell about what places were taken for drawing the “King of the Lion”.

Lilo and Stitch – Kauai, Hawaii

If Stich’s homeland is just another galaxy, because he himself is an alien genetic experiment, then his beloved girlfriend Lilo was born and lives in Hawaii. The inspiration for drawing the scene of the cartoon was one of the Hawaiian Islands – Kauai. A wonderful green island, ideal for fans of surf and, of course, for fans of the friendship of a little girl with an alien charming girl Stich.
